Potato Dextrose Agar is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions in humans. A medium recommended by the Harmonized USP/EP/JP for the cultivation of fungi and specifically for the preparation of the Aspergillus brasiliensis test strain. Conforms to USP/EP/JP performance specification. The medium is commonly abbreviated to PDA.
